Product Description Glycosil ® hyaluronic acid is a component of the HyStem ® and Hystem ® -C hydrogel kits and can be purchased separately in individual vials. HyStem components are reconstituted with a buffered 1X PBS. The resulting components will result in a pH neutral isotonic salt hydrogel. Glycosil ® is a thiol-modified hyaluronic acid and a constituent of native extracellular matrix (ECM). Glycosil ® is used in conjunction with Gelin-S ® or ECM proteins such as laminin, collagen, or fibronectin for most 3-D cell culture and tissue-engineering applications. Glycosil ® (thiol-modified sodium hyaluronate) is packaged in 1 mL or 5 mL vials containing 10 mg or 50 mg of material. Vials are blanketed by nitrogen and under a slight vacuum and are tested for bacteria and endotoxins.
